Storyteller competition

StorySLAM Oslo had its first storytelling competition in Stavanger in December 2017. In the weeks ahead of the event, several workshops were held where people could come and work with their storytelling skills and stories. Together with instructors from StorySLAM Oslo, we developed the story from being an idea to become stage ready.

Bergen

Storyteller competition

StorySLAM Oslo had its first storytelling competition in Bergen in April 2018. The event was in collaboration with Onsdagspodden. In the weeks ahead of the event, several workshops were held where people could come and work with their storytelling skills and stories. Kulturhuset

Capital

Kulturhuset is one of the main sites for StorySLAM Oslo's activities and events. We have had events at Kulturhuset since 2015 and here we arrange several StorySLAM competitions in a year. In the weeks ahead of an event, several workshops will be held where people can come and work with their storyelling skills and stories. Kristiandsand

Storyteller competition

StorySLAM Oslo had its first event in Kristiansand in October 2017 and was the first city after Oslo to visit the narrative competition. In the weeks ahead of the events, several workshops were held where people could come and work with their storytelling skills and stories. StorySLAM Oslo had its first narrative contest in Trondheim in September 2018. The event was in collaboration with Midtnorsk tellers' forum. Grandslam

Finale

Grandslam is StorySLAM Oslo's big final. It was first hosted at Rockefeller in November 2016. On stage, the winners from StorySLAMene stand throughout the year and compete to be the best of the best in front of a crowded hall.

StorySlam has various services for schools

• Events:
  StorySLAM Oslo can offer various events for school at all levels, from primary school to primary school. StorySLAM Oslo can prepare the event based on the wishes and needs. Our narratives work with both folk tales, myths, historical stories and personal stories. The event can also be adapted to the curriculum in different subjects.


• Workshops:
  StorySLAM Oslo offers storytelling workshops for different age levels and based on the curriculum. The workshops can be formed in cooperation with the teacher and go over one or more days if desired. The majority of the instructors are educated lecturers and have experience in designing programs adapted to school at both primary and secondary school and upper secondary level.
